Residents at Berwick by the Sea in Campbell River may have noticed a new face in the hallways. Lifelong Campbell River resident Chelsey Andrews has officially stepped into the role of Community Relations Manager. But don’t worry, Loren Butler hasn’t gone far. She’s moved into an exciting new position as the community’s General Manager.
“I’m thrilled to take on this new role,” Loren says. “But I want to reassure our residents that I’m still readily available and remain an active member of the team. Everything our residents love about life at Berwick will continue, while I also help bring in new ideas and opportunities for our residents.”
She adds, “I’m also incredibly excited for Chelsey and look forward to watching her thrive in her new position. She’s full of fresh ideas and is sure to bring renewed energy to our hallways.”
Chelsey was born and raised in Campbell River and is now raising her three children in the town she holds dear. Her grandmother was once a resident of Berwick by the Sea and she has long admired how Berwick communities are designed with strong ties to their local roots - even incorporating local art and history into the decor.
“I’m really looking forward to this next chapter,” Chelsey says. “I have a bachelor’s degree in marketing and a master’s in community planning, and this position feels like the perfect blend of both. I’m excited to explore new ways for our residents to connect with the broader Campbell River community. It’s such a vibrant place and I can’t wait to help residents - both current and future - experience everything that makes it so special.”
Chelsey is also a passionate advocate for long-term planning and hopes to share that enthusiasm with prospective residents. She believes in helping people take charge of their future and understand the many benefits of downsizing and embracing independent living - a lifestyle that can offer connection, activity and peace of mind.
