Campbell River Storm beat Port Alberni but still chasing in North Division

Despite the Storm's win, they are one point behind the Bombers in the North Division

The Campbell River Storm beat the Port Alberni Bombers on Dec. 4 with a score of 6 to 4.

Ethan Hill, Dominic Grieco, Jan-Felix Faupel, and Logan Vigneault scored one goal each, while Jacob Kulas scored a brace.

Kulas and Faupel were named the second and third stars of the game, respectively. Both also recorded an assist. After a hattrick performance, Port Alberni's Jack Barrett nabbed first star of the game.

The two sides have been duking it out for the top spot in the North Division, with the Bombers in the top spot with 39 points, just one above the Storm.

The Storm will play six more games before the Christmas break: Saanich (Dec. 6), Nanaimo (Dec. 12), Oceanside (Dec. 13), Lake Cowichan (Dec. 15), Oceanside (Dec. 20) and Kerry Park (Dec. 21).
