The Campbell River Storm and the Port Alberni Bombers will face off for the first game of the Vancouver Island Junior Hockey League's North Division finals on March 11.
To get here, the Storm swept the Lake Cowichan Kraken while the Bombers did the same to the Comox Valley Glacier Kings. Both teams scored a total of 16 goals and conceded seven in their respective series. Going into the second round, the Storm have an edge on the power play, scoring twice in 10 opportunities. The Kraken have had nine opportunities and have only scored one goal while on the power play. The penalty kill units for the Storm have also been strong, refusing the Kraken any goals while down a man ten times.
The seven-game series starts at the Rod Brind'Amour Arena on Campbell River today at 7:30 p.m.

The winner of this series will play the South Division finalist, which could be the Kerry Park Islanders or the Peninsula Panthers.
