The School District of 72 has set the schedule for its public board meetings for the upcoming school year.
"We've tried to work around events, holidays. So generally, our governance says schedule every three weeks, but of course, there's somewhere we're a little bit less than three weeks and some that are a little bit more," said Kevin Patrick, secretary-treasurer, during the board meeting on May 27.
The first board meeting is on Sep. 2, 2025, and the last one scheduled is on June 16, 2026.
The school board hosts public meetings at 425 Pinecrest Road in Campbell River. Each meeting starts at 7:30 p.m. The public is allowed to attend the meeting or watch an online livestream. A video of the livestream will be posted on the district's YouTube channel (@SchoolDistrict72) within 24 hours of the meeting's end.
