New washroom to be built in Hagel Park this spring

Construction will run Monday to Friday, from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. but the parking lot will be closed for 24 hours

The Strathcona Regional District says construction on the parking lot is expected to begin May 5 and run for 12 to 16 weeks.

The parking lot at Hagel Park will be closed for 24 hours on week days due to the construction of a new washroom facility.

The Strathcona Regional District says construction is expected to begin on May 5 and run for 12 to 16 weeks. Other parts of the park will remain open as much as possible, but some areas near the construction may need to close at times.

Construction hours will run Monday to Friday, from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. but the parking lot will be closed for 24 hours. 

The regional district asks residents to respect all barriers and follow signage and crew directions.
