Campbell Riverites lined Shoppers Row to watch the dazzling Big Truck Parade on Friday night.
The annual parade travelled along Highway 19A to Campbell River's downtown. The parade kicked off a weekend of supporting local businesses and festive holiday celebrations called "Campbell River Invites You To Deck the Downtown!"
This year's truck parade was the biggest ever, says parade organizer, Jan Wade, Campbell River Downtown BIA executive director.
"Our first Deck the Downtown was held last weekend, and, despite crummy weather, it was a success," Wade told the City of Campbell River council on Dec. 2. "Everybody I talked to said (the parade) was the best and biggest ever."
