The annual Campbell River firefighters union tree chip is taking place Saturday (Jan. 4) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Sportsplex.
The Campbell River Professional Fire Fighters IAFF 1668 team of off-duty firefighters will be busy ringing in the New Year by chipping trees and collecting donations.
Proceeds will be donated to the BC Professional Fire Fighters’ Burn Fund and other local charities.
