Campbell River will have some visitors from different school districts this year.
"I am pleased to share that Campbell River will be hosting the Vancouver Island School Trustee Association meetings this fall, and this will be a wonderful opportunity to showcase not only the great work being done within our district but also to highlight the Campbell River Community as a whole," said Kat Eddy, board chairperson, during a board meeting on Jan. 14. "We look forward to welcoming trustees from across Vancouver Island and sharing the many successes of our school."
The meetings will be on Oct. 3 and 4.
The Vancouver Island School Trustee Association is a branch of the British Columbia School Trustees Association and includes trustees from school districts in Campbell River, Comox Valley, Cowichan Valley, Greater Victoria, Gulf Islands, Nanaimo-Ladysmith, Qualicum, Saanich, Sooke, Vancouver Island North, and Vancouver Island South.
