The acclaimed instrumental group, Astrocolor, will perform at the Tidemark Theatre on Nov. 1, showcasing their unique fusion of jazz, psychedelia and electronica.
The Halloween performance is set to deliver an unforgettable evening filled with mesmerizing rhythms, infectious energy, and cosmic grooves, according to a Oct. 1 media release from the Tidemark Theatre. It celebrates its latest album, Moonlighting – AstroJazz Vol. 1.
"Astrocolor will transport audiences on a sonic adventure through deep space, with influences from electronic legends like Air, St. Germain, and Massive Attack," states the release.
Produced and mixed by Grammy Award-winning Steve Christensen, celebrated for his work with the Houston-based trio Khruangbin, Moonlighting offers a captivating blend of meditative and electrifying sounds. It layers live drums, bass, guitar, saxophone and upright piano, creating an immersive musical journey.
Enhancing the evening's excitement, Astrocolor’s own Neil James Cooke-Dallin, a talented producer, DJ and high-kick enthusiast, will elevate the energy to new heights, ensuring the dance floor is buzzing with cosmic vibes, states the release.
"This is more than just a concert—it’s a Halloween celebration that will push musical boundaries and leave you spellbound."
