The Minx are having a recruitment day at Strathcona Gardens on August 10 from 2-4.
What about if you haven’t skated in years or at all?
Most of Rink Minx started that way as well. While prior skating or other athletic experience is certainly encouraged, it is not required of any type of team member, especially those who see themselves playing a more supporting role in the league. If you are committed to dedicating the time, you will be shown the tools to train yourself into a roller athlete.
The Rink Minx is a team inclusive of women of all sizes, ages and backgrounds. You must be 18 or older to skate with the team, however, they welcome volunteers and non-skating officials of all ages.
