The Mountainaire Avian Rescue Society (MARS) AGM is on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Merville Hall located on the Island Highway and Fenwick Road.
All MARS members are encouraged to attend as this is your opportunity to have input and to help make the important decisions that will affect the future of MARS.
Non-members are also welcome to come and learn more about the Society.
Your attendance at the AGM is important as it also recorded in their applications to BC Gaming for funding each year.
The agenda will include election of officers to the board of directors - several positions are needed, including treasurer.
A presentation by Reg Westcott with our wildlife ambassadors will follow.
The executive and directors will be on hand to greet attendees. The meeting will be followed by a meet and greet, with hot dogs and snacks available.
