The Recreation & Culture department is offering Trail Riding Skills for Beginners.

Campbell River boasts some amazing trail networks that are ideal for mountain bikers.  The Beaver Lodge Lands and Snowden Forest are two of the most obvious areas.

Many people would like to ride on these trails but feel that they just do not have the expertise.

If you are one of those people, the upcoming sessions would be ideal for you.

The sessions run on Thursdays, May 31 and June 7 and 21 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. each evening.  You can learn all about balance, positioning, descending, climbing, getting over obstacles and riding switch backs.

Each session is only $15.  You must register at least 48 hours in advance.  For registration or more information call 250-923-7911.
