Day hikes get you out to explore beautiful Strathcona Park

Divers Lake is one of the destinations for a six-hour hike on Sunday offered by the Strathcona Wilderness Institute.

This BC Day long weekend, come enjoy beautiful Strathcona Park on a nature walk or hike with the Strathcona Wilderness Institute.

On Saturday, Aug. 30, meet at the Strathcona Wilderness Centre near Raven Lodge at 11 a.m. for a Paradise Meadows boardwalk tour guided by experienced naturalist Alison Maignon and learn about the plant species found in the Meadows.

On Sunday, Aug. 31, meet at 9:30 a.m. for a six-hour hike to Rossiter and Divers lakes guided by Kathryn Landry.

This hike to these less visited lakes is for experienced hikers, bring a lunch and appropriate clothing. Unfortunately, no dogs are permitted on the walks.
