Maeve Milligan, who recently returned from an educational exchange in Japan, puts the finishing touches on her work at this year’s Pumpkebana event at Campbell River Common on Saturday. The annual event celebrates Japanese culture by merging traditional Western pumpkin carving with the Japanese tradition of flower arrangement.
