Timberline presents Little Women

Timberline Secondary school presents its version of the timeless classic Little Women

Timberline Secondary school presents its version of the timeless classic Little Women.

The play, which opened Thursday, continues tonight and Saturday night and returns for shows May 1, 2, and 3. All shows begin at 7 p.m. and are two and a half hours long.

Based on Louisa May Alcott’s enduring classic, Little Women follows the beloved stories of the March sisters as they come of age in Civil War America.  This timeless captivating story is brought to life in this glorious musical filled with personal discovery, heartache, hope, and everlasting love.

Defiant and headstrong Jo, delicate Beth, sweet Meg, and petulant Amy captivate us as they enchant the men in their lives. Each young woman, with the guidance of their Marmee, seek to find their voice – just as this powerful score brings us the sounds of a young America finding its way in the new world.

Through laughter, tears, and a profound uplifting of spirit, the March sisters will wind their way into your heart, gently taking your breath away. All shows take place in the Timberline Theatre.

Tickets are $12 for students and seniors and $15 for adults. Tickets can be purchases at the school’s office or online at www.sd72.bc.ca/school/timberline
