Students will participate in classes and workshops to learn about singing, acting, dancing, sets, make up, and costuming

The Tidemark Theatre and the City of Campbell River Parks, Recreation & Culture Department is partnering to offer the Tidemark Youth Theatre Arts Program this July for students ages 4-18.

Taste the world of musical theatre this summer!  This is a one week program designed to give students experience in the craft of musical theatre and performing arts.  Students will participate in classes and workshops to learn about singing, acting, dancing, sets, make up, and costuming.  Students will showcase their talents in a final show. Teaching the Tidemark Youth Theatre Arts program are musical theatre veterans:  Heather Gordon Murphy, Kristy Miller and Amy Lelliott.

The Beginner class (age 4-6) will run on Friday, July 6 and Saturday, July 7 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.  at a cost of $65.  The Beginner class will join the older students on Saturday, July 14 for the final performance.   The Intermediate class (age 7-10) will run Monday, July 9 to Saturday July 14 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at a cost of $195.

The Advanced class (age 11-18) will run Monday, July 9 to Saturday, July 14 from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at a cost of $295.
