The 10th Annual Photographers at Painter’s is being held this weekend, and it promises to be informative and inspiring for photographers at all levels.
Guests will join some of the best photographers in British Columbia for weekend-long photography classes and workshops at the historic oceanfront Painter’s Lodge.
“Even the photographs on the event’s website are inspiring,” says Susan Barcham, spokesperson for the Lodge. “To have the opportunity to learn from the professionals in a setting immersed in Vancouver Island’s stunning natural beauty is extraordinary. For anyone who’s interested in photography, this is an event not to be missed.”
Guests will learn advanced techniques and get hands on training from the pros as 10 professional photographers share their tricks of the trade. Amateur photographers in attendance can also have their work critiqued by the photographers in residence, who specialize in a variety of styles. The event also includes a gallery with the newest and most exciting photos taken by the presenters.
Weekend packages start at $329 and include accommodation for Friday and Saturday night at Painter’s Lodge, dinner with the photographers on Friday night, Painter’s Lodge’s famous brunch on Saturday and Sunday, and admission to presentations and panel discussions on Saturday and Sunday.
