“Not Another Piano Recital” is back! The traditional format of a piano recital has been cast aside in favour of providing a greater variety of performers and performances which will appeal to every musical taste.
The event is sponsored by the Campbell River Friends of Music as a fund raiser for financial aid to local music students who wish to attend musical studies programs during the summer.
The concert will be held at the Campbell River United Church, 415 Pinecrest Road, on Sunday March 16 at 2:30 pm and will feature Nigel Nikolaisen, Pacifica Ukes, Christine Doknjas’ String Beans, singer Mary-Jo Wood, musical theatre performances from the Raincoast Creative Performing Arts group; pianists Carter Johnson, Mathew Krell and more.
Admission to the March 16 concert is by donation.
