Multi award winning and platinum record selling guitarist Jesse Cook returns to Vancouver Island with the Blue Guitar Tour in March 2014.
Another highly successful album released last year, The Blue Guitar is Cook’s eighth studio album. The album is a departure from anything resembling flamenco. Instead, Cook has produced a captivating album with a sound that allows listeners to appreciate each musician`s contribution.
The live show will include songs from his more familiar work…flamenco rumba, jazz, and many forms of world music as well as material from the new album. Joining Cook on stage are the musicians that have become as familiar to fans as Cook himself: Chris Church, Rosendo “Chendy” Leon, Nicholas Hernandez, and Dennis Mohammed.
The Vancouver Island dates are a continuation of Jesse`s world wide tour of Europe, Canada, and the United States. His “Blue Guitar Tour” comes to Tidemark Theatre on March 7, 2014. Tickets are $47.50 plus applicable fees and taxes and can be purchased at the Box Office from Tuesday – Saturday 12-4 p.m.
