Hop on to downtown Campbell River for Easter fun on Saturday

With spring just around the corner what better way to celebrate than an Easter Egg Hunt

Downtown Campbell River will be hopping this Easter Saturday with lots of activities to keep you and your family entertained.

The BIA feels Easter is the perfect time to hold an outdoor event and will present its fourth annual Easter Festivities. With spring just around the corner what better way to celebrate than an Easter Egg Hunt at Ostler Park with the Easter Bunny himself. Following the hunt will be a jam-packed afternoon with music, food, dancing, crafts and more bunnies. The popular Street Piano will be making its 2013 debut and Spirit Square will be filled with entertainment.  Saturday’s activities are just another reason to stay local this weekend and enjoy your city.  Moms, dads and grandparents remember to bring your cameras. Of course all of the downtown shops will be open to provide you with their top-quality products and the best customer service.  Spring stock has arrived, it’s time for some retail therapy.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, March 30 and join them at Spirit Square.

Enjoy a salmon barbecue courtesy of the CR Swim Club and Greigs Seafood and finish up with some warm mini donuts, popcorn and cotton candy. Take a stroll around town, explore the shops, have some lunch.
