Han wins Virginia Graczak piano award

Awards go to Campbell River, Comox Valley music students

Eric Han, 12, was the 2018 winner of the Virginia Graczak Music Scholarship Piano competition. The Virginia Graczak Music Scholarship, Piano and Voice, along with the Margaret Graczak Fine Art Award at North Island College are open to all students of School District No. 71 and 72. The scholarship was founded in 2001 and has raised over $110,000. Han is holding a print by Margaret Gracza, stepmother of the founder of the scholarships. All VGMS participants and adjudicators are awarded a print, with first place receiving $1,000.
