Head to Cortes Island to discover the creative heart of Cortes Island through 17 stunning gardens and unique studios on June 28.
"This beloved annual event offers rare access to beautiful private spaces and celebrates the island's vibrant creative community," reads a press release from the Cortes Island Museum.
From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., people can tour the island, taking in the gardens, artist studios, historic homesteads and the museum's Heritage Garden. Artists will sell some of their work at some locations.
Tickets are $20 (children under 12 get in for free). People can purchase tickets at the Cortes Island Museum, local stores on Cortes, the Whaletown Garden Center (day of event only) and Quadra Island's Inspirations. Digital tickets can be purchased online through cimas@cortesmuseum.com
Proceeds go to the Cortes Island Museum's public education, outreach and archive programs.
