Everything is in the pink in the Carihi theatre as the students prepare for their spring musical “Legally Blonde,” next week.

This hilarious comedy tells the story of perky Elle Woods as she follows her ex-boyfriend to Harvard Law School to try to win him back. She gets accepted to the prestigious law school, and experiences a few setbacks, but manages to surprise everyone when she defies expectations while staying true to herself.

After last year’s amazing musical, which sold out most nights, you will not want to miss seeing what the Carihi theatre program has got in store for you this year. It promises to be quite the production.

“I have never worked on a more challenging show,” says Christine Knight, one of the show’s directors. “The set, the music, the costumes...it’s all just so big! But it’s going to be amazing. We are so proud of the work that the cast, crew and musicians have done.”

The show opens Wednesday, April 22 at Carihi, and runs through Saturday, April 25. Curtain opens at 7 each night, with a matinee on Saturday as well, at 2 p.m. Tickets are $12 for students and seniors, and $14.00 for adults and are available at the Carihi office, or by calling 250-286-6282.
