Hard work, dedication, and teamwork has paid dividends for the talented dancers of CR DanceXtreme Inc.
This season alone, they have won numerous awards for group and solo routines in various styles of dance.
At Tremaine Dance Competition in Vancouver, WA, their youngest dancers competed andwon “Top Overall” score in their age division.
In Maple Ridge, B.C., their dancers stole the show at the Synergy Dance Competition with three “TopOverall” awards in three styles of dance.
Each of the three adjudicators chose one of their dances for the “Best Overall” in the entire competition.
Recently, in Nanaimo at the Core Dance Competition, their soloists and groups placed first in several categories.
They had two groups and one soloist, Emiko Koizumi, place in the “Top Ten” overall.
Artistic Directors, Shawna Sloan and Buddy Mynatt, are now preparing the dancers for their final dance competition of the season which will be held in Las Vegas at the “West Coast Dance Explosion Competition” in July.
Currently, the dancers of CR DanceXtreme Inc. are preparing for the upcoming recital shows, “Postcards from Afar” (Thursday evening, Saturday matinee, Saturday evening) and “CRX Stars of Tomorrow” (all competitive teams, Friday evening).
