Campbell River and the North Island’s biggest outdoor art extravaganza, River City Arts Festival, is gearing up for it fourth annual event.
Organizer Kris Sand and festival volunteers have recently formed a non-profit society, ensuring a stronger foundation for this and future years’ burgeoning, impressive initiatives.
Located downtown, within the artistic hub of Spirit Square, the Tidemark Theatre and Art Gallery, the full day (and free) festival offers a wealth of arts and entertainment for all ages.
Arts Fest features a wide range of exciting artistic venues, unique designs, interactive art events, opportunities to chat with talented artists and artisans, lively musicians and entertainers, and delicious foods to savour.
Arts Fest 2015, which takes place Saturday, July 25, will extend the event to offer more exciting entertainment – new and expanded children’s art activities, talented jugglers and buskers, eclectic stage performers, multiple street theatre venues, etc.
