April Wine is the iconic Canadian rock band founded in 1969 and like a fine vintage, their cellar full of hit songs get better with age.

You can uncork April Wine tour will stop at the Tidemark Theatre on Sunday, April 17.

They along with their fans, happily look back upon a stellar career that has seen tremendous success, garnering legions of fans worldwide. In 2009, April Wine was inducted into the Canadian Music Industry Hall of Fame during Canadian Music Week in Toronto and received The Lifetime Achievement Award for being part of Canadian Music History for over 40 years.

Last year, the band was honoured at the Juno Awards in April and inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame.

Their career has been “one hell of a hard-rockin’ ride” that started back in 1969 and that’s right, folks, “It ain’t over yet.”

There’s still plenty of wine left for everybody with a live performance featuring hit after hit after hit including, “Sign of the Gypsy Queen,” “Rock & Roll is a Vicious Game,” “Oowatanite,” “Tonight Is A Wonderful Time To Fall In Love,” “Roller,” and many more, guaranteeing the bands signature wall of guitar sound is still there front and centre, loud, crisp and proud, even after over 40 years.
