Rivercity Players (RCP) is looking for a variety of people to bring our 2023/24 season to life – no experience necessary!

If you are interested in acting, auditions are being held for the fall one-act play production. RCP is looking for actors aged 18 and over, to act in three short plays. A variety of plays are being considered – from comedy to mystery to sci fi. One-act plays are more flexible in rehearsals, and a great opportunity for someone new to the theatre. This year’s directors are Patrick Baird, Barb Baldwin and Douglas Craig.

Auditions will be held on Sunday, June 25, starting at 2 p.m. Call backs are scheduled for Monday evening, June 26. Production dates are Sept. 28 to Oct. 7.

There are many other ways to be involved in the theatre! RCP is looking for everyone from directors to stage/tech crew to costume/hair makeup. Whether your skills and interests are financial, organizational, technical or artistic, RCP has a place for you and would love to have your help to bring productions to life. Working in the theatre is a team effort, and they look forward to having you join our team.

If you would like to hear more, RCP is having an open house on Monday, June 19 at 7 p.m. – refreshments will be provided!

All events will be held at the Rivercity Stage, 1080 Hemlock Street. For more information, you can check out our website at rivercityplayers.ca or contact us at info@rivercityplayers.ca
