Yahoooo! Saratoga Beach Polar Bear Swim welcomes 2019!

The annual Polar Bear Swim drew another enthusiastic New Year’s Day crowd today at Saratoga Beach south of Campbell River.

The annual dash into the Salish Sea for a swim to mark the first day of the New Year went off without a hitch under pretty ideal conditions. The overcast sky, calm seas and approximately 4-degree air temperature made for a brisk swim.
