Volunteer Campbell River hosts its 22nd AGM on Tuesday, June 18th, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. at the Museum at Campbell River

Highlights of the evening will include electing a new Board of Directors and a review of the agency’s previous year’s work, particularly the launch of the Community Hub.  Members and guests, are invited to come and find out how they can help you and your agency.

In between our meeting and special guests, they will serve refreshments and delicious appetizers.

They have arranged a special treat this year for members.  David Freeman and Sussana Hill, Folk Musicians have volunteered to perform a concert “for the volunteers of this City, in appreciation for all the good things they do.”

In the words of Harriet Naylor, a pioneer of the Volunteer Management Program “Volunteering can be an exciting, growing, enjoyable experience.  It is truly gratifying to serve a cause, practice one’s ideals, work with people, solve problems, see benefits, and know one had a hand in them.”

RSVP by 9 a.m. Monday June 17th, at 250-287-8111
