Ian Baikie, Campbell River Noon Hour Rotary Club (left), Capital Power Corporation’s Island Generation facility manager Greg Manzulengo (centre) and Noon Hour Rotary president Cathy Kaardal were happy to funnel Capital Power’s $5,000 contribution to the Rotary Club’s annual TV Auction into the Robron Fieldhouse project.
The Rotary TV Auction raised $100,000 last year for community projects and the club took on the Campbell River Youth Soccer Association’s $550,000 Robron Fieldhouse project as its 2016 recipient project for TV Auction funds. This year’s TV Auction returns Nov. 18 and 19.
