Still time to donate to the United Way

The goal for the campaign across Central and North Island is just over one million dollars

The United Way Central & Northern Vancouver Island Agent of Change fundraising campaign will wrap up at the end of January after four months of fundraising.

The goal for the campaign across Central and North Island is just over one million dollars.  Donations to United Way are needed to support 60 programs that reach over 20,000 people in need in the Central Island, the Comox Valley, Port Alberni and Campbell River. From food programs to alleviate poverty, support for people grieving and dying, teens learning how to prevent bullying and suicide and so much more, programs funded by United Way save lives and strengthen the community. Donations can be made by calling the UWCNVI office at 250-591-8731 or info@uwcnvi.ca or donate directly online through Canada Helps at www.uwcnvi.ca
