The Canadian Armed Forces Parachute Team, Skyhawks, put on a spectacular display over Willow Point Park on Monday, July 15.
With smoke trails and Canadian Flags flapping in the wind, the team spiralled and turned over the park, much to the delight of spectators below.
The team was performing for Campbell River as part of Operation Pegasus Jump, a charity supporting veterans through parachuting.
The SkyHawks, are Canada’s only military parachute demonstration team. The team comprises 13 demonstrators from the Canadian Army, the Royal Canadian Navy, and the Royal Canadian Air Force. This includes both Regular Force and Reserve members with diverse professional backgrounds.
