Nov. 5 a day to celebrate volunteers

Join Volunteer Campbell River in recognizing and thanking the people in this role

Universally, people recognize the contribution of volunteers as they are involved in just about every aspect of service delivery in all walks of life.

However, behind all those volunteers, are Managers of volunteers who work hard to make sure volunteer programs run smoothly with support, scheduling, and training.  They care about keeping volunteers fulfilled and engaged.  And volunteers who feel fulfilled in their roles are more likely to stick to their volunteer commitments.  That’s something worth celebrating too!

It is important to let these professionals know that the spirit of volunteerism is enhanced and enable by them – and to thank them.  That is why International Volunteer Managers Day is celebrated every year on Nov. 5.

Join Volunteer Campbell River in recognizing and thanking the people in this role and their contribution to our community and organizations as we celebrate International Volunteer Manager’s Day on Wednesday, Nov. 5.
