After spending nearly a decade as a journalist in different newsrooms across Canada, from Yellowknife in the north to Saint John in the east, Robin Grant recently relocated to Vancouver Island to cover climate and environmental news.
She's also interested in crime, the cost of living, homelessness, human rights, food security and Indigenous affairs. Robin began her career in journalism as a photojournalist, and she's eager to document life on the North Island.
Her education includes an MA in Journalism from Carleton University in Ottawa. When she's not in the newsroom chasing stories, she enjoys exploring nature on foot, by bike, and by boat.
