Coastal Community invites you to grab a blanket or pull up a lawn chair, and join them for a movie at sunset this July as part of their free outdoor movie series in support of their longstanding community partner, Success By 6.
The launch of Coastal Community’s Sunset Cinema, last summer, marked the beginning of something new for our Island communities, as it was the first outdoor movie series on Vancouver Island. With over $7,000 raised through concession sales and donations, thousands of community attendees at each of the events, and the “sea-of-blue” created by their employee volunteers, Coastal Community will build upon the success of their 2011 series by expanding to nine movie nights in nine communities in 2012. Coastal Community looks forward to building on their success in Campbell River with this year’s event on July 5 at Willow Point Park, where they will be featuring a film the whole family will love. Movies begin at dusk with people arriving as early as 7:30 p.m. to claim a piece of grass.
