The Campbell River Arts Council, in partnership with the City of Campbell River, has unveiled another public artwork on a water utility box (or pressure reducing valve box) on Woodburn Road.

Designed by artist Alex Witcombe, the artwork depicts the complex interconnections of life both within and surrounding a river system.

The art was selected through the Arts Council’s public art call and follows the unveiling of Pete the Pen’s work on a similar box on Galernoa Road a few weeks ago.

The Arts Council congratulated the city on implementing a creative approach to activating public art in our community.
