Monkey around with Curious George during spring break

Reading program, featuring everyone's favourite monkey, at the Campbell River Library

Parents, bring your children the Campbell River branch of the Vancouver Island Regional Library to join Curious George on his reading adventures.

This self-guided program will take place during Spring Break from March 31 to April 15, and is full of fun activities, reading ideas, plus a free game board and prizes. No child is too young to participate.

Simply pick up a Curious Adventure game board at your local VIRL branch at the beginning of Spring Break. Children complete the activities along Curious George’s adventure path and an adult can initial each box as the activity is completed.

When your child has completed as many activities as possible, bring the completed game board to the library to enter a draw for a Curious George book!

The Campbell River branch library has also planned two fun-filled family story time events: “Curious about Monkeys” on Wednesday, April 4. from 1-1:45 p.m. and “Curious about the Zoo” on Wednesday, April 11, from 1-1:45 p.m. Registration is not required for these free drop-in events.

For more information, phone the Campbell River branch library at 250-287-3655 or visit www.virl.bc.ca, click on “Programs & Events” and select “Campbell River” from the drop-down list of branches on the right hand side of the page.
