It began as a girl’s night out at the production of Nana’s Naughty Knickers by the River City Players and turned into cash to support quality health care at Campbell River Hospital.
Bank of Nova Scotia employees, Sue McDermid and Linda Lyons, thought it would be fun to borrow from the play to support Mammography and so they came up with the idea of a bra decorating contest.
They talked their co-workers into the challenge and then invited their clients and customers to vote by donation for the best bras.
With matching funds from the Bank of Nova Scotia they raised $700 for the hospital.
