Hockey playoff viewing party returns to downtown Campbell River

Following successful viewing parties for games 2 and 3, the City of Campbell River will be streaming the 2024 NHL Stanley Cup playoffs, Round 2, Game 5, between the Vancouver Canucks and Edmonton Oilers.

The game will be shown on an 85-inch screen in the courtyard between Tidemark Theatre and the Campbell River branch of the Vancouver Island Regional Library. The game starts at 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 16. Viewers are welcome from 6:30 p.m. on for pre-game coverage.

Bring your own comfy chair and root for your favourite team at this free, family-friendly event.

Additional games may be streamed as the playoffs progress. The city will share additional games on its website and social channels at a later date.
