Free, fun and useful workshop

wo free Safe Harbour workshops will be hosted this fall to teach staff customer service skills

Have you or a coworker ever experienced an uncomfortable situation that you felt needed to be addressed but did not know how?

Two free Safe Harbour workshops will be hosted this fall to teach staff customer service skills to actively respect all diversity and to effectively, confidently and safely respond to inappropriate comments or discrimination. The workshop is great as a refresher, training new staff or for businesses and organizations to become a new Safe Harbour location. There are already over 40 certified locations in Campbell River and over a thousand in BC working towards creating safe places for everyone at work places.

Workshops will be held at the Robron Centre, on Thursday, Sept. 18 from 9 - 11:30 a.m. and on Thursday, Oct. 9 from 3 - 5:30 p.m. Attendance is free but registration is required. Contact the Immigrant Welcome Centre at 250 830-0171 or visit www.ImmigrantWelcome.ca/SafeHarbour
