Dine Out for Life

Patrons can enjoy great food and help raise essential funds for AIDS Vancouver Island

On Thursday March 29, patrons can enjoy great food and help raise essential funds for AIDS Vancouver Island by eating at the Fusilli Grill, the Royal Coachman Inn, and the Salmon Point Restaurant & Bar.

The seventh annual Dining Out For Life, presented by Expedia CruiseShipCenters, will be taking place in 65 restaurants across Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands.

“If you dine out just once in March, make it Thursday the 29th and support much needed services for people living with HIV/AIDS in your community,” said James Boxshall, acting Executive Director, AIDS Vancouver Island.

On March 29, participating restaurants will donate 25 per cent of their food sales to AIDS Vancouver Island. In addition to the restaurants’ donations, diners are encouraged to make individual donations. Stella Artois will also contribute $1 from every sale of their beer at participating restaurants.

This year diners can also enter a draw for the chance to win a luxury cruise for two, courtesy of Expedia CruiseShipCenters and Azamara Club Cruises.

AIDS Vancouver Island has provided community health services focused on the prevention and treatment of HIV/AIDS since 1985.  For more information or to make a donation, visit www.diningoutforlife.com/vancouverisland or call AIDS Vancouver Island at (250) 830-0787.
