Come on down to the Big Yellow craft fair

Local crafters are excitedly assembling their Christmas goodies in preparation for the Merville Hall Annual Craft Fair this Saturday

While Jolly Old Saint Nick is busy with his elves in his high tech workshop at the North Pole, the local crafters are also excitedly assembling their Christmas goodies in preparation for the Merville Hall Annual Craft Fair this Saturday. The festive event takes place at the Big Yellow Merville Hall on the Old Island Highway between Courtenay and Campbell River.

The tables will be packed with crafty Christmas essentials for your shopping pleasure so plan on arriving early.

The Merville Grannies will be serving up the canteen treats and the MCA staff will see to it that your craft excursion is memorable.

There are gift basket raffles to be raffled; friends to meet and chat with; and tickets will be available for the upcoming John Reischman bluegrass show at the hall on December 2.

The big doors of the hall swing open at 9:30 a.m. and the buying bonanza continues until 1:30 p.m.

Come one, come all.

The Mountainaire Avian Rescue Society will also been on display at the craft fair to sell its homemade goods in support of the birds it has taken into its rehabilitation centre in Merville already this season.
