Capital campaign continues

The Tidemark 25 Capital Campaign Committee has launched the next stage fundraising goal

The Tidemark 25 Capital Campaign Committee has launched the next stage fundraising goal with new focus on individual seat naming opportunities and local business or corporate sponsorships.

The first stage of the campaign, which allows the Tidemark to qualify for $306,000 in approved grant monies, has been achieved with over $62,000 raised through March 31. A large portion of those funds was raised through the wildly successful “$100 Silver Brick” campaign and various other fundraising events.

The Tidemark Theatre hopes to reach the half way mark ($125,000) of their capital campaign by June 30 with another $125,000 by December 3 totaling $250,000.

The Silver Brick Campaign ($100) and Seat sponsorships ($500) each are continuing with over 366 bricks and 52 seats already sponsored. “There are only 435 total seat naming opportunities, so we are happy to have such a good start” reports Denise Mitchell, Campaign Co-Chair.

Local Scotia Bank employees have pooled their funds together to sponsor two seats totaling $1000.  Local businesses and theatre supporters are encouraged to start office or local community organization pools to raise money for theatre seats!

The theatre expects a “sample” seat to arrive and be on display in the Theatre before the end of the month.

“Silver Brick” donors who would like to see their name on a seat in the theatre, may upgrade their donation levels to a seat sponsorship for an additional $400, which can be pledged and paid for any time between now and December 31, 2012.
