The Canadian Cancer Society will be teaming up with the Strathcona Gardens Recreation Complex for their first Cancer Prevention Breakfast in support of Cancer Awareness Month.
The breakfast is this Friday from 9-11:30 a.m. at Strathcona Gardens.
A number of guest speakers, including local and resident doctors, a dietician, and an exercise specialist, will provide advice for reducing your risk of cancer and living a healthier lifestyle.
The event will also feature draw prizes. Tickets are free and are available at Strathcona Gardens, and the Cancer Society office between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. today.
