Get ready to welcome back Starlight Shopping and The BIA Big Truck Parade on Friday, Dec. 1.

One of Campbell River’s favourite traditions returns with over 60 big rigs transformed into rolling works of art. The Parade is magical! There are trucks of all descriptions – dump trucks, crane trucks, logging trucks, cement mixers, buses and boats.

Opening ceremonies will include a welcome from the mayor followed by a light up of downtown and Starlight Shopping which will include live music with Jeff Plankenhorn, Pacifica Ukes and a local jazz group; Santa, Mrs. Claus and elves, delicious food, entertainment with Shoo Shoo the Clown, Captain Thunderpants, the Illuminated Angels and of course…fantastic shopping!

This year will also feature the Welcome Back Contest – watch for clues on the trucks as they pass by and enter to win three incredible prizes.
