The annual Rotary TV Auction took place last weekend, and the community once again stepped up to help the cause.

Bidding on the 580 items donated by local businesses, organizations and community members broke the club’s previous fundraising record again this year, with $111,500 raised.

The funds will go towards the club’s community initiaitves, including the fieldhouse at Robron field, currently in the design stages. In previous years, the auction has supported such projects as the Elk Falls Suspension Bridge, Centennial Pool, the Willow Point Splashpark, and, of course, the Rotary Seawalk.
