Sandra Parrish has been promoted to the position of associate director at the Museum at Campbell River.

Sandra Parrish has been appointed Associate Director of the Museum at Campbell River.

“Sandra has contributed to impressive milestones during her 27 years at the Museum and has always excelled at new challenges,” says Lesia Davis, outgoing executive director of the museum..

In 1996, Sandra was appointed as Collections and Exhibits Manager.  She has also overseen the management of building security and maintenance, and been responsible for the overall management of the Haig-Brown House as a BC Heritage site.  In addition to this, she will now be the lead contact for all our contractors and will oversee a coordinated volunteer program.

“While the search is on for a new Executive Director, Sandra is the ideal person to take on this new role,” says Ms. Davis.

“As an organization, we believe in promotion from within.  I am confident that Sandra will continue to make successful contributions and will provide  operational stability as the Museum goes through its next stages.”
