The City of Campbell River Fire Department is using today’s technology to share a look into the past.
“This is a new chapter in the Fire Department’s history,” says Fire Chief Ian Baikie. “Using digital technology, we’re making available four books that the Fire Department produced over the years to capture its history from 1942 onwards.
These books offer a great review of the department as well as a chance to step back in time and see Campbell River as it’s changed through the years.”
The four books are posted on the City’s website (www.campbellriver.ca) under City Services / Public Safety / Fire Services / Fire History.
