The City of Campbell River has released its 2024 Fall 2024 Recreation Guide. Registration for programs and events opened Aug. 19.

The City of Campbell River's fall recreation guide is now available, and registration kicked off on Aug. 19.

Campbell River residents have many choices to stay healthy and active from September to December, including a fitness membership that provides access to classes, and weight and cardio rooms. Membership also offers access to activities like squash, racquetball, pickleball, badminton, soft tennis and drop-in basketball.

For some enjoyable programming for children, the city will host Breakfast with Santa again. It will also debut the Spooktacular Monster Mash Dance for students in Grades 6 to 8.

Some all-time favourites are making a comeback, including pottery, advanced pottery, beginner and intermediate Tai Chi, Home Alone and Babysitting Know-How.

Exciting new offerings are on the horizon, including different levels of First Aid and CPR courses, fencing lessons, Introduction to Dance - Cha Cha and Intro to Dance - Swing, and improv classes.

Register online at campbellriver.ca/registration, in person at the Community Centre (401-11th Avenue) or Sportsplex (1800 South Alder Street), or by calling 250-286-1161 or 250-923-7911.
