Cameryn's Cause for Kids was the recipient of over a $9,000 donation this week.

Local realtor Don Corder hosts the Shoot-to-Win contest during each home hockey game for the Campbell River Storm. He donates all the proceeds from ticket sales for the contest to Cameryn's Cause at the end of the hockey season.

The contest has become a fan-favorite event at the home games, with Corder personally funding all the prize money. This season one lucky fan walk away with $1,000.

This is the fourth hockey season that Corder has been running the Shoot-to-Win contest. He has raised over $24,000 over the four seasons for the cause. The money will go a long way for Cameryn's Cause, which offers financial assistance to local families with children facing a health crisis.
